Kevin Jennings: Where Does Barry Get These Guys?

First of all, I'm not sure how to proceed in my take on the latest Obama court jester, Kevin Jennings. I know if I come out with all guns blazing, I'll be called a bigot and a homophobe. If I don't, I'll be called overly tolerant of homosexuals. I will be honest with you, I do not approve of homosexuality. I personally think the lifestyle is abhorrent and reprehensible. Both God and nature did not intend for two men to have sexual relations with each other. However, this is America and what two consenting adults do in the bedroom is their business. But I also think that most people in the United States, while tolerant of homosexuals, will not stand for teachers or school administrators forcing the gay lifestyle on public school students. But according to Pamela Geller at Atlas Shrugs ( I hope I don't get in trouble for using her name), that's exactly what Kevin Jennings is in favor of and supports. Jennings is the founder of the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN) a radical organization dedicated to indoctrinating our public school students into the "wonders" of homosexuality and gender-confusion (Atlas Shrugs). GLSEN sponsored a conference called "Teach Out" on March 25th, 2000 in Massachusetts. The conferences were held by employees of the Massachusetts Department of Education statewide according to MassResistance.com ( I hope I don't get in trouble for using their name as well). The conference extolled the "virtues" of fisting, role-playing, and "carpet munching" ( I'm assuming that was for the lesbians at the conference). Massachusetts News publisher Ed Pawlick dubbed the entire incident as "Fistgate"(Mass Resistance). Three Education Department employees were fired after the incident. Now Barack Obama has appointed this man, Kevin Jennings, to head up "Safe Schools" efforts at the U.S. Department of Education. My question is, when did it become the purvey of our educators to indoctrinate our children into any kind of sexual lifestyle, heterosexual, homosexual or otherwise? It just goes to show you what lows the Left is willing to sink to in order to gain and hold on to power. Even our kids are not safe from left wing indoctrination.

George Soros: Financier to the Left

Let's have a brief chat about one of the Left's main money men: George Soros. Here's some background; George Soros was born in Budapest, Hungary August 12, 1930. His birth name was Gyorgy Schwartz. His father, Tivadar was Jewish and a prisoner of the Russians during World War I. The family changed their name from Schwartz to Soros in 1936 because of the growing anti-Semitism in Southeastern Europe and in Germany. In 1947, with World War II over, Soros moved to Britain and graduated from the London School of Economics in 1952. He moved to New York City in 1956, landing a job as an arbitrage trader with F.M. Mayer from 1956 to 1959, and then as an analyst with Wertheim and Company from 1959 to 1963. Soros is also a former member of the Carlyle Group. In 1970 he founded the Quantum Fund with the help of Jim Rogers, and in so doing, created the bulk of his fortune. In 2007 Quantum Fund returned almost 32%, netting Soros $2.9 million. On September 16, 1992 a day known as Black Wednesday, Soros' fund sold short more than $10 billion worth of British Pounds profiting from the Bank of England's reluctance to either raise interest rates comparable to other European Exchange Rate Mechanism countries or float the currency. The Bank of England was forced to withdraw it's currency from the European Exchange Rate Mechanism and in so doing, devalued the Pound Sterling and allowed George Soros to make a huge profit of $1.1 billion US dollars in the process. Soros was known as the "man who broke the Bank of England." In 2002 he was convicted of insider trading in France, which is a felony under French law. Soros was fined $2.3 million, which was the amount of money he made in the attempted takeover of French bank Societe Generale. He stated in a November 11 ,2003 Washington Post interview that, "Removing George W. Bush from office was the central focus of my life" and "a matter of life and death." He donated (and continues to donate), to the following left wing causes and organizations: Center for American Progress ( $3 million), MoveOn.org ( $5 million), and America Coming Together ( $10 million). George Soros is an elitist, a man who is against repealing the Federal Estate Tax, which allows the IRS to confiscate up to 50% of the estate of a deceased relative. You can damn sure bet that George Soros will find a way to make sure any of his relatives avoid paying the Estate Tax. He's the worst kind of uber rich because of his it's okay-for-me-to-be-rich-but not-you attitude. He's the kind of guy that gets onto the board of an exclusive private club just to make it difficult for someone else to join. Soros is also a self-hating Jew, openly unsupportive of Israel. His whole "Open Society" psychobabble is nothing more than candy-coated Marxism. In conclusion, George Soros wrote an article in Atlantic Monthly entitled Capitalist Threat February, 1997. Now, you tell me what kind of ideology he supports? Maybe someone can "enlighten" me and tell me how someone who has so much wealth can be pro-Marxist. I'd really like to know.

Nixon: Whipping Boy for the Left

A little history tonight. Hopefully this post will show you to what extremes the Left is willing to go in order to gain and hold on to power in this country. On August 9, 1974 a man resigned from his job; that man was Richard Milhous Nixon, the 37th President of the United States. Ostensibly, it was the third-rate burglary known to most of us as Watergate that forced him to resign the office. But the real reasons run much deeper than that. Nixon was the favorite whipping boy of the left for one reason and one reason only: He brought down Alger Hiss, an American spying for the Soviet Union while working for the U.S. Department of State during World War II. Hiss was a top official at the State Department and became a trusted adviser to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt at the Yalta Conference with British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Soviet dictator and mass murderer Joseph Stalin in February, 1945. It is believed Hiss was the man who influenced Roosevelt's decision to cede much of Eastern Europe and a third of Germany to Stalin after Germany finally capitulated. In 1948, Alger Hiss was named by Whittaker Chambers as a Soviet spy before the House Un-American Activities Committee, a special subcommittee of which was chaired by Congressman Richard Nixon of California. Nixon doggedly pursued the Harvard-educated Hiss' associations with the Soviets and because of this fact, Nixon would be forever labelled as being resentful of the Ivy League. Because of Richard Nixon's perseverance, Alger Hiss was eventually convicted on two counts of perjury and sentenced to five years in federal prison. He actually served four years of his sentence at the Federal Penitentiary in Lewisburg, PA. Because Nixon had the audacity to ferret out a high-level Soviet spy and the temerity to defend his country, he would be forever loathed by the Left in America. Watergate gave liberals the excuse they needed to bring down Nixon's presidency. These are the same people that Obama has surrounded himself with. I know, I know the names are different and the situation is slightly different, but the ideology is still the same. The names change, but the malevolent ideology of Communism and Marxism will always be the same.

San Joaquin Valley

I sometimes wonder what country we live in. I cannot believe that the United States Government would deliberately put farmers out of business because of some "rare"species of fish. (The Delta Smelt) This Endangered Species Act has gone too far. I'm sorry, but no animal is so valuable as a species that it's continued existence should put people out of work. Enough is enough. I like animals as much as anyone, but I'm also realistic enough to believe that they should not be protected at the expense of human progress. 12% of American agricultural output comes from California, and a large part of it from the San Joaquin Valley. Thanks to the Endangered Species Act, farmers cannot get water piped in to irrigate their crops because of an "endangered" minnow. This crap has got to stop. It's time we told the Federal Government that their unelected, unaccountable alphabet soup agencies are going to be held accountable for their misguided actions. Some fish or plant or animal cannot and should not be allowed to impede progress in this country and should certainly not be allowed to deprive our farmers of water to grow their crops. Crops that you and I eat. These enviro-nazi animal rights wackos should remember one thing: Don't cuss out the farmer with your mouth full. I am a descendant of farmers, so I know what they go through to make a living. The last thing they need is bullshit from some government alphabet soup agency or a gaggle of misanthropic animal rights nazis.

Slavery: Not Just for Blacks

First of all, I want to say that slavery was America's original sin, and I in no way shape or form condone or support one human being owning another human being. Having said that, the blacks in the United States need to stop with the race-baiting, revisionist history, and selective perception when it comes to slavery in America. People have been taught that evil white Europeans went deep into the jungles of darkest Africa to cosh poor unsuspecting indigenous Negroes on the head and take them into slavery. That may have happened in a very small percentage of cases, but the reality is something far different, and not as cut and dried. The reality is, most African slaves were sold to white European slave traders by people of their own race. Tribes in Africa would fight each other in local conflicts and one of the benefits for the victorious tribe was taking the members of the defeated tribe and selling them into slavery and not just to white Europeans. The Arabs were heavily involved in the trade as well. Arabs also enslaved Eastern European whites. Yes, you read correctly, white Eastern Europeans were sold into slavery. The word Slav means "slave" in Eastern European languages. This trade took place sometime during the 8th and 9th centuries and included whites from the Mediterranean areas, the Caucuses Mountains ( Georgia, Armenia, Circassia) and parts of Scandinavia. The Arabs, as I mentioned before, were also deeply involved in the buying and selling of African slaves as well. It is estimated that the Arabs sold between 11 and 18 million Negroes into slavery from the year 650 to the year 1900! Compare that with the 9 to 12 million slaves sold in the Americas during the Atlantic Slave Trade. It wasn't just the United States that was involved in the Atlantic Slave Trade, Brazil was a big player as well. White Europeans also enslaved each other in the early days of European civilization. The Vikings were notorious for taking people they captured in combat as slaves. Saint Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland was himself captured and sold as a slave. During the Carolingian Dynasty in Germany approximately 20% of the population were slaves. In England, chattel slavery was quite common until the year 1066 when William of Normandy conquered England. Chattel slavery was abolished in 1102. I know many people will say, "So? Who cares that the Arabs, English, and Vikings bought and sold white people?" That all happened centuries ago." Slavery in America didn't end until the Civil War and that wasn't all that long ago comparatively, so white America still hasn't suffered enough or done enough penance for their sins." It's not a question of "suffering enough" or "doing penance for past sins" it's a question of perspective. The fact is IT WASN'T JUST NEGROES THAT WERE FORCED INTO SLAVERY! Besides, the people that took part in the slave trade are all dead! That includes the people who traded in slaves, and the people who were sold into slavery. There is no slavery in America or Europe anymore! Slavery is dead in most parts of the world, save one continent, one region of the earth. That continent is Africa. To this day, tribes in Africa are still fighting, killing, and enslaving each other. The last time I checked, the predominate color of most people in Africa is black, so how can white people be held solely responsible for slavery? All I'm saying is, blacks in the United States need to stop living in the past and realize they have it far better here in America than they would in any African country.

Patrick Swayze

Patrick Swayze is no longer with us I'm sorry to say. He passed on September 14, 2009, and will be missed. He'll most likely be remembered for his role in the movie Dirty Dancing but I remember him more from the movie Red Dawn where he played the role of Jed Eckert, the leader of a group of high school kids fighting against a Soviet/Cuban invasion of the United States. Swayze was fighting against a different but no less deadly enemy this time around: pancreatic cancer, an aggressive and pernicious form of cancer whose victims have a very low survival rate. Like his character in Red Dawn, he didn't give up without a fight, he continued to live life on his own terms right up to the very end. When the end finally came, he was with the people he cared most about; his family. Patrick Swayze will be sadly missed by us all.

Writer's Block

Hey everybody, I have a case of writer's block tonight. I'm not sure what to write about, I've been leaning kind of heavy on the politics lately because I think the country is in serious trouble.
But I can't seem to narrow it down to just one thing and keep people interested. My blog's only had 68 hits on it, so it's not like I'm going disappoint a whole hell of a lot of fans. I'm going to do a bit more research before I write anything. I feel like I haven't been as astute as I should be in my past writings. I'll hopefully have something for you to ruminate over tomorrow. Or maybe tonight, sometimes I get a thought while I'm drifting off to sleep. Have a good night y'all.
